Selbie represents individual and corporate clients in connection with criminal, regulatory, and internal investigations and resulting litigation or criminal prosecutions.

Her practice focuses on advising and representing clients in complex civil and criminal litigation in federal court and regulatory administrative proceedings including white collar criminal cases brought by the U.S. Department of Justice and SEC enforcement matters. She also advises individual and corporate clients in connection with internal and regulatory investigations. Her experience includes representing clients in matters involving allegations of securities fraud, wire fraud, tax evasion, conspiracy, violations of fiduciary duties, market manipulation, and price fixing. Selbie has also represented an individual client charged with various wire fraud and conspiracy counts in a four-week criminal trial in the Southern District of New York. Before joining Smith Villazor LLP, Selbie was an associate at two international law firms.
